Ingredients:  
1 can French cut green beans (drained)
1 can (2 cups) New/Spring/tiny peas (drained)
4 medium stalks celery, finely diced
1 small green pepper, finely diced
1 small white onion, finely diced

For dressing:
1 12 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Put vegetables in a bowl and mix together
Combine dressing ingredients and whisk until sugar is dissolved.
Pour dressing over vegetables and mix well,
Put in airtight/covered bowl
Let stand in refrigerator overnight
Stir before serving

For a very long time this has been a "MUST have" side dish for Thanksgiving and Christmas .
I make this quite often for "pot luck" dinners because it is easy to make and transport.
