Ingredients: Stir together: 2 cups Flour 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 teaspoon salt
Bring to boil: 2 sticks Butter 4 Tablespoons Cocoa 1 cup water
Icing (Fudge type Frosting)
Bring to Boil: 1 Stick Butter 6 Tablespoons Milk 4 Tablespoons Cocoa Remove from heat and add 1 pound of sifted Powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla and 1 cup Pecans(optional).

Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. This recipe may be used as a 9"x13" cake or a 10"x 15" sheet(Bars). Prepare desired pan grease and flour. After stirring together the first part of the mixture, set it aside. Bring to boil the next set of ingredients. Once it has come to a boil remove from heat and pour it into the flour mixture. Mix until completely blended. Pour into baking pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool (some) then add frosting to the top. |
