1 c. diced apple
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, room temp
1 c. br. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. quick oats

Oven - 375º.

In saucepan, combine fruits, nuts, white sugar, and 2 Tbls. water. Cook and stir until thick and apple is tender. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk to creamed mix. Stir in oats. Reserve 3/4 c. dough. Drop remainder from tsp onto cookie sheet. Make depression in centers, top with apple filling and dab of reserved dough. Bake for 10-12 min.
Makes 3 dozen.
