Ingredients:  
Use to flour meat: 1/4 cup flour 2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp thyme

2 pounds beef chuck, cubed

Brown in 1/2 cup butter or olive oil

Add 1 cup sliced onions and cook until golden.

Stir in: 2 cup tomato juice 2TBS sugar 2 TBS sweet Hungarian paprika

Simmer 1 and a half hours until meat is tender. Optional: Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream and bring to serving temperature. Do not boil.

Serve with wide cooked noodles gnocchi, or rice. May add carrots, peas or vegetables of choice. Serves 6
