3/4 Cup Cocoa
1 12 oz.Can Carnation Milk
1 Stick of Butter
Pinch of Salt

Mix all ingredients in a heavy 6 qt. saucepan. Cook on medium heat, When it starts boiling, cook about 11 minutes until a soft ball stage.Take off heat and beat until it start to stiffen.Pour in a buttered 9x13 pan.

To check for the soft ball stage is to drop a little of the cooked candy in a small bowl of cold water.What I pour my candy in is a 11x13 oval platter.
