2-1/2 pounds round steak, cut into strips - flour and brown
1 can beef consomme or beef broth
2 onions, sliced
mushrooms, 1 can or use fresh mushrooms
1/2 pint sour cream or creme fraiche
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cut round steak into strips - flour steak and brown in a combination of heated olive oil and butter. Add in the beef consomme/broth. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Separately, sauté onions. Once soft, add mushrooms until both are soft. Reserve. Once beef is tender, add in onions/mushrooms and mix well. Add in sour cream and cook for just a few minutes to mix.

Serve over egg noodles.
