Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Round steak. Tenderize by pounding steak with flour.

Dredge pieces of meat in flour and brown in hot oil until browned. Remove and drain on paper towel.
Put in a large pan or crock pot. Add diced onions, mushrooms, can of cream of mushroom soup, and 1 can water. Salt and pepper. Simmer until tender – about two hours. In crock pot, low for about 6-8 hours or high 4-5 hours. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Variation:
After meat is browned, add onions, mushrooms, large can whole tomatoes, can tomato sauce, and simmer/cook as listed above. Serve with rice or over noodles.
For lower calories, don’t dredge in flour or fry – tenderize and put into pan with other ingredients.
