About 5 or 6 medium size onions
butter
flour
Dijon mustard
½ cup dry white wine
1 can beef broth
1 cup water
French or Italian bread
swiss cheese
parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
About 5 or 6 medium size onions – sliced in thin strips
Saute’ in butter, then add flour and Dijon mustard (to taste) and stir until smooth
(keep stirring to keep it from getting lumpy)
Add and cook on medium heat:
½ cup dry white wine
1 can beef broth
1 cup water

Then: Toast slices of French or Italian bread
Put in bottom of soup bowl
Top with hot soup
Put slices of swiss cheese on top and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on.
Broil until lightly brown.
