½ cup Butter or margarine, softened
¾ cups flour
2 squares (1oz) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 eggs
1 (4 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 baked 9-inch pastry shell or graham cracker crust
Whipped cream - optional
Shaved chocolate – optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, stir in chocolate.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spoon filling into pastry shell and chill until firm. (about 2 hours) or freeze. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate if desired.
