"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Cream sugar & butter. Mix in eggs.

Mix in baking powder, salt, vanilla. Add flour about a cup at a time until it reaches cookie-dough consistency.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill. If you form it into a log about 2" thick and chill it, you can just slice the cookies off later.

While dough is chilling, preheat oven 350.

Roll dough out & cut to shapes, or slice as above. Place on baking sheet & bake about 16 minutes, until golden.
