3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 pkg quick rise yeast
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp salt
1 egg


Makes 12 rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 cups of flour with yeast in large bowl.

Melt shortening, add milk, sugar and salt.

Heat until mixture is lukewarm

Add to flour mixture.

Add egg and beat on low speed for 1 minute, then high speed for 3 minutes.

Stir in remaining flour

Place in large greased bowl

Cover with clean towel and let rise 1 1/2 -2 hours

Punch and let rest for 10 minutes

Lay out on cabinet with a little flour to keep from sticking , roll 1.4 inch thickness


Filling
Spread 1 1/2 sticks of soft butter, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon, roll up in a log, cut into 2 inch slices
and place in buttered 9x13 pan. Let rise again for 30-45 minutes


Bake at 375 until browned. Remove from oven, invert onto a sheet of aluminum foil leaving pan for about 3 minutes

Remove pan and frost while hot
 

GLAZE

1/2 cup milk

Mix powdered sugar with milk and pour over rolls
