1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 cups marshmallow fluff or cream
1 teaspoon almond extract
36 Maraschino Cherries
1 Package (12oz.) Chocolate Chips
dash salt
4 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare fondant:
Cream butter, beat in marshmallow, salt and almond exract. Add sugar gradually, mixing well after each addition. Turn out and knead until smooth, working in more sugar if sticking. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Prepare Cherries:
Drain cherries thoroughly. Wrap cherries in fondant. Be sure cherry is completely covered. Refrigerate.

Prepare Chocolate and dip:
Melt chocolate chips and 1 Tablespoon Crisco in top part of double boiler, over hot but no boiling water.
Dip cherries in melted chocolae. Place on wax paper and refrigerate to harden chocolate.
