Mix together cream cheese and cheddar cheese. When completely mixed add onion mix and bacon bits (if desired). Divide and Roll the mixture into the size cheese balls needed. This recipe will make 2 nice sized cheese balls. Then roll cheese balls in the chopped pecans. If not using right away wrap the cheese balls with plastic wrap and put in a ziplock bag and refrigerate. Good in frig. for up to a week. These may also be frozen for later use.
