Ingredients:  
1 onion chopped
1 box chopped frozen broccoli
1 1/2 sticks butterx
3 to 4 cans chicken broth
1/2 cup flour
1/2 quart half and half
2 qt milk ( use less for thicker soup)

Directions:
Directions:
Microwave 1/2 cup of butter with the onions on high for 1 minute
Pour into sauce pan with the chicken broth and broccoli
Cook 10-15 minutes

Thicken
Mix 1/2 cup flour with 1 stick butter melted

Pour into soup mixture and stir until smooth

Add milk and the half and half
Bring to a boil. Cook on medium/low heat for 30 minutes

Cook until done
