60 maraschino cherries (drained)
½ c. quick rolled oats
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. confectioner's sugar
4 c. flour
3 tsp. almond flavoring
2 c. butter (softened)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Mix butter confectioner's sugar and almond for 5 min at med speed
Add flour, baking powder, salt and rolled oats
Mix well

Use small scoop and shape dough around each cherry
Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1" apart
Bake 15 min until set, but NOT brown

Cool slightly them remove to cool completely on rack

Sprinkle confectioner's sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate

Store thightly covered in fridge
