2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly pack brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 small Package (4 serving size) Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
2 eggs
1- 12 ounce package of chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix flour and soda. Combine butter, pudding, sugars, vanilla in a large bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts if desired. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
