2 cups brown sugar
1 Tablespoons Butter
3 cups water
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup white sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bring o boil; Brown sugar, buter,water and vanilla. Pour into a 9" x 13" baking pan.
Mix together white sugar, flour, baking powder, dates, nuts and milk. Drop this mixture by tablespoon into mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Serve warm with Whip Cream!
