Meat Marinade;
1/4 t. Baking Soda
1/4 t. White Pepper
1 T. Soy Sauce
2 T. Corn Starch
1 Egg White, Beaten

Sauce;
1 heaping t. Garlic
1 heaping t. Ginger
1 heaping t. Sambal
1 heaping t. Salt
1/2 C. Soy Sauce
1/4 C. Beef Stock
1/2 C. Brown Sugar or 2 heaping T. Coconut Sugar
Garlic Powder

Salt & Pepper
Flank Steak
Green Onion chopped in 1” pieces
Broccoli Florets, steamed

Directions:
Directions:
In a small saucepan heat the garlic, ginger, sambal, salt, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Heat to boiling. Boil for five full minutes. Adjust salt. Set aside.

Slice flank steak into thin strips, add marinade ingredients and meat to a bowl and marinate for 30 minutes. Dredge meat in additional corn starch.

Heat wok, when hot add 4” of oil. Heat on high heat. Add dredged flank steak and cook tossing until crispy about 2-3 minutes. Remove from oil and drain. Reheat oil. Add meat back to oil and fry again until crispy and well browned. Season with salt & pepper.

Drain oil and reheat the wok.

Add green onion and toss for a minute or two. Add broccoli and toss for an additional minute or two.

Add Meat.
Add sauce in increments until desired consistency. Heat thru until hot. Serve. Enjoy.
