2/3 Cup Softened Butter or Margarine
1/2 Cup Pack brown sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 3/4 Cup unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup Broken pecan pieces
2 Cup Semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º. Cream Butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. In separate bowel, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and 1 3/4 cup of chocolate chips. (Reserve 1/4 cup of chips to sprinkle on top) Press into an ungreased 12" round pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle unused chips on top, pressing lightly into dough. Bake at 350º
approximately 25 minutes or brown around the edges. When done. cool on rack for 5 minutes. Turn cookie out and remove paper. completely cool upright before decorating.
