Full Batch:
5 c. flour
3 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp. salt
7 ½ c. bran flakes
1 c.(or more) raisins
1 quart buttermilk
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten

Half Batch:
2½ c. flour
1 ¾ c. sugar
1 T. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 ½ c. bran flakes
½ c. raisins
2 c. buttermilk
½ c. vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, sugar, soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir in cereal and raisins.
Add buttermilk, oil, and eggs and blend until dry ingredients are moistened.
DO NOT STIR AGAIN
Bake at 400º for 15 minutes
A half batch makes 2 1/2 dozen muffins

***Note: Mixture may be stored for up to 6 weeks in a covered container (non-metal) in the refrigerator.
