4 c Flour
3 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
½ c shortenting (lard)
2 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together then cut in shortening (using a fork or a pastry cutter). When it is to the "course crumble" stage (the lard all cut up, no big chunks, the flour mixture is "crumbly") add in milk and mix just to bring it together. Trun dough out onto floured surface and roll out to about ½inch think. Cut into biscuits, place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425ºF for 12-15 minutes , until golden brown.
** Variation; Cheater Cinnamon buns
add ½ c or white sugar to the flour mixture and prepare dough as above. Roll our and spread margarine over the whole surface. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar. Roll up lengthwise and cut 1 inch thick pieces, place on pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar on top. Bake.**
