Personal Notes:
Cheryl Barto, a friend and colleague at Gallaudet University, gave this recipe to me around 1990. It soon became a family favorite. My niece Gretchen Hanson requested the recipe a few years back. When I asked her family to give me a better name for these, they suggested Galaxy Bars. My kids persist in calling them Glumps!
