2 Pounds of cod, haddock or any white fish
3 Large onions, chopped
2 ½ Teaspoons salt
1½ Teaspoons pepper
1 Bay leaf
¼ Teapoon dried dill
4 Large potatoes, diced
½ Cup butter
2½ Cups boiling water
2 Cups of half and half
2 Cups of corn
Fresh Dill

Directions:
Directions:
In a dutch oven, layer the fish, onions and potatoes. Add salt, pepper, dried dill, bay leaf and butter.

Pour in boiling water,cover and bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until fish flakes and potatoes are done.

Reomve from oven, add fresh corn, half and half, fresh dill to taste.

This is an amazing fish chowder. I always double the recipe, tastes even better the next day. Adapted from our Gloucester Fish Lady, who brought us the "catch of the day" weekly right from the dock!
