1.5 pounds whole almonds

Add the following:
1/2 oil (I used orange infused olive oil)
2 t. salt
3 t. coriander
4 t. cinnamon
3 t. ginger
2 t. cumin
1/2 t. cayenne
1/2 c. brown sugar
Optional: fig or maple or other infused balsamic vinegar

Directions:

Rinse and soak 1.5# whole almonds overnight in filtered water (this removes an enzyme inhibitor and increases ease of digestion). Rinse almonds and dry using paper towels or tea towel.
Stir well to coat almonds.
Spread on cookie sheet (lined with Silpat mat or parchment paper). Bake approximately 8 hours at 150 degrees, until nuts are crunchy.

Cool nuts. Add raisins, stick pretzels, dark chocolate bits.
