3.5 to 4 pound boneless beef chuck roast, trimmed and cut in half
1/2 c soy sauce
1 cube beef bouillon
1 bay leaf
3 to 4 peppercorns crushed
1 t dried rosemary crushed
1 t dried thyme crushed
1 t garlic powder
12 french sandwich rolls split

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast in a slow cooker. Combine soy sauce and remaining ingredients except for rolls in a small bowl; pour over roast. add water to slow cooker until roast is almost cover and cook on low for 7 hours, or until meat is very tender. Remove roast, reserving broth and discarding bay leaf; shred roast with 2 forks. Divide shredded meat evenly among rolls, serve with broth drippings.
