Ingredients:  
In a bowl, mix the following ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Add the following and beat until well blended:
3/4 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon shortening, melted

ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS:
You can enjoy your donuts with additional toppings:
Mix the following:
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Dip each donut lightly into this mix of nutmeg & cinnamon.
GLAZED DONUTS:
Mix together:
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons HOT water
Directions:
Directions:
Fill each donuts cavity 2/3 full with the batter. Bake 8 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched. Cool. Remove from pan. ENJOY!

Dip the donuts one by one into the glaze. You can also add toppings to the top of the glaze such as colored sprinkles, nuts, coconut shavings or powder chocolate. Use your imagination!
