1 stick butter, melted
12 oz. jar Smucker’s caramel ice cream topping

1/2 gal. Vanilla ice cream, or flavor of choice

1 c. sugar
13 oz. can evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:

1st – Put Oreos in a 1 gal. plastic bag (not a ziploc, fold top over, so cookies don’t fall out of bag). Now put cookies in a 2nd plastic bag (again, fold top over, so cookies don’t fall out), put in a brown shopping bag and fold it as flat as you can and put paper bag in another shopping bag and fold it flat. Now go outside and put bag of Oreos in driveway and drive over them with your car 5 or 6 times. Turn bag 1/4 turn and do it again. (DO NOT TURN WHEELS WHILE ON BAG OR YOU MAY RIP THE BAGS) Oreos should be thoroughly crunched. Combine cookies, melted butter and caramel topping together in pan or bowl and spread in a buttered 9 x 13 pan. Press down. Now cut slabs of ice cream and lay them on cookie crust to cover. You can put hot water in the empty Smucker’s jar and use it to smooth the ice cream out. Sprinkle with Spanish nuts and lightly press in. FREEZE.

Melt butter, add sugar, evap. milk, chips. Cook about 8 min. or until mixture thickens. Cool completely. Pour over ice cream, freeze.
