1 lb. linguini or linguittini
1 onion (minced)
3 pods garlic (minced)
2teaspoons chicken base or 1 chicken bouillon
3 cans Snow's minced clams
½ cup water
pepper to taste
pinch of thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1½ tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 pod garlic mashed (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the minced onion and garlic in olive oil, add chicken base, the clams with liquid, water, thyme and pepper to taste.
Boil 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch into the water. Add to sauce, just enough to give sauce a little body. Add t6he mashed pod of garlic and then add parsley. Pour sauce over cooked linguini and serve with parmesan grated cheese.

No salt is used in this recipe as the clams and chicken base are salty. salt to your taste.
