Ingredients: 1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 4 oz. white baking chocolate, melted and cooled 4 eggs 1½ tsp. vanilla (clear will keep cake white) 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. buttermilk ½ c. water
Frosting: 11 oz. cream cheese ⅓ c. butter 4 oz. white baking chocolate, melted and cooled 1½ tsp. vanilla 6½ c. powdered sugar White chocolate curls for garnish

Directions: |
Directions:*Line three greased 9-inch round baking pans with wax paper and grease paper; set aside. *In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and water. Pour batter into prepared pans *Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
Frosting: *Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy. *Spread frosting between layers and over top and sides of cake. *Garnish with chocolate curls. |
