1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together

Mix egg and milk together, add dry ingredient. Beat until smooth. Add more milk
gradually until the batter is the consistency of pancake batter.

Fill pan with 1 inch oil and heat as cooking doughnuts

Hold finger over bottom of funnel. Pour in about 1/4 c batter. Remove finger and let batter drop in
spiral motion into hot oil.

Fry until golden brown, turning once with tongs

Drain on paper towels , sprinkle with powered sugar
