2 T. Butter
1/4 c. Sugar
3/4 t Salt
1 c. Boiling Milk
1 c. Scalded Milk
1/4 Yeast Cake (or 1/2 t Dry Yeast)
1 Egg, Beaten
4 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl mix, butter, sugar and salt. Add boiling milk and stir to dissolve. Add scalded milk and cool to lukewarm. add yeast and egg and flour. Stir until dough forms. Cover and let rise overnight. In the morning, stir to deflate. Butter muffin rings and place on a buttered pan. Fill rings 2/3 full with muffin mixture. Let rise until full, about 30 minutes and then bake for 30 minutes in hot oven (375-400 F).
