Personal Notes:
Greetings to all. I'm from the old school. You put in a little of this and a little of that and lots of love. I was raised on a farm in the state of Mississippi. (My hometown is Starkville, home of Mississippi State University). On the farm, we had all kinds of meats, vegetables, fruit, and nuts. And, everything was homegrown and home cooked. We had beef, pork, turkeys, chickens, vegetables, fruit and nut trees. Home cooked cakes, pies and yes homemade real ice cream. God blessed my family, and God is still blessing me today. I was the only girl among three brothers (I was the only girl AND the baby in the family), and I was truly spoiled by my mother and father. And really spoiled by my Dad. Today I'm still spoiled by my children and grandchildren. I consider it a blessing. So when you are in the kitchen making a peach cobbler, think of me and thank God for his goodness to you. Yours in Christ, Eva Skinner.
