2 Cups Flour
1 T Baking Powder
1/2 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Salt
1/3 Cup Shortening or Butter
3/4 Cups Buttermilk (or add soe vinegar to regular milk)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients. Using a pastry blender cut the shortening into the flour until very well combined. Add milk and mix just until combines. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead a few times to bring it ll together. Pat out to 3/4 inch or so thick and cut out into desired size. I use a biscuit cutter or a glass. You can also use a pizza cutter annd make squares. Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
