Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 gal milk
5 or 6 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
dash salt
3 TBsp flour (if you want to use some)
2 TBsp vanilla extract
1 can eagle brand condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Put milk in a large sauce pan and scald. Meanwhile, beat eggs thoroughly. Add sugar and flour into egg mixture and beat well. Then add to hot milk and stir with wooden spoon. This burns easy so it's best to cook over hot water. When thick, and coats the spoon, it is ready to take from the stove. Add vanilla stir well. Let cool. You add eagle brand milk and half and half just before you get ready to freeze. Use half and half to fill freezer 2/3 full then freeze
