2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp milk
6 Tbsp butter, melted and slightly cooled

Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

2 Tbsp butter, melted and slightly cooled

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients. In separate bowl, whisk egg and add milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid mixture.

Combine just until blended. Spoon into muffin cups about 2/3 full. Bake for about 20 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes and remove from pan.

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Melt butter in a separate bowl.

Dip muffins in butter and then in cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.
