Wet ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Wet ingredients:
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately.

Combine both mixtures.

These are drop biscuits. Drop large spoonfuls onto cookie sheet to bake.

Bake 400º for 15 minutes.


Variations:
Strawberry Shortcake Biscuits:
Add 4 Tbsp of sugar to dry ingredients.

Garlic Cheddar Biscuits:
To the dry mixture, add 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Increase butter to 1/4 cup and add 2 Tbsp chopped chives (or 1/4 c chopped scallions) and 2 garlic cloves (crushed).
