Directions:
Place lettuce in large salad bowl.
Brown sausages with onion slices in frying pan. When cooked, remove to cutting board and add potatoes to pan, cooking and stirring until crispy on surface. Slice meat and place with onions over lettuce.
As these cook, make dressing...to be ready the moment everything else is!
Melt butter in sauce pan, blend cornstarch with vinegar and water and stir into butter. Cook, stirring often until mixture thickens and becomes clear. Salt and pepper to taste.
Put fried potatoes over meat, sprinkle with mustard seeds and top with sliced eggs.
Pour hot dressing over all and toss at the table.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
A good recipe to involve the whole family in dinner prep since there are so many stirring, slicing and tearing jobs. A fine, filling meal after a day of cross-country skiing. Adapted from the first La Leche League cookbook.
