4 lbs extra lean ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans diced tomatoes (14 oz)
2 cans beef broth
Salt & Pepper
1 T ground cumin
1 tsp ground thyme
8-10 T Chili Powder (to your taste)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Thickening (if needed)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, onions and minced garlic together until meat is brown. Drain off some of the grease (but not all). Add remaining ingredients, mixing well, and simmer, covered, for at least an hour. Add thickening, if desired, cooking until desired consistency.
