2 cups sugar
2 cups sifted flour

1 stick oleo (butter)
1/2 cup shortening
4 Tbsp cocoa
1 cup water

1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda

Icing ingredients:
1 stick oleo (butter)
6 Tbsp milk
4 Tbsp cocoa
1 box powdered sugar (4 cups, unsifted)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Grease & flour a 9x13 baking dish
Place sugar & flour in a large bowl.
Place butter, shortening, cocoa & water in a saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil & pour over sugar & flour mixture. Stir well.
Add next 5 ingredients, mixing well. Pour into pan and bake 20-25 minutes.

Start icing about 5 minutes before cake is done.
Melt & bring to a boil in a saucepan the butter, milk & cocoa. Remove from heat & add sifted powdered sugar, vanilla & pecans, beat well. Pour evenly over hot cake.
