1 package yellow cake mix
4 ounces semisweet chocolate
1 tbsp. shortening
1 quart strawberries, hulled
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
1/4 cup strawberry-flavored gelatin powder
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350. degrees. Grease and flour a 13 by 9 inch baking pan. Prepare cake mix and bake in prepared pan. Ina small cause pan, melt chocolate and shortening over low heat; stir until smooth. Set aside to cool. Place cake, bottom side up, on a platter, spread with chocolate mixture. Let stand until chocolate sets. Arrange strawberries on top.
