1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
1/2 tsp Course Black Pepper
1 tbs Salt

3 pounds Beef Brisket, trimmed of excess fat
1 Onion

3 Tbsp Orange Marmalade

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix the ground coffee, sugar, garlic powder, coriander, cumin, pepper and salt together in a bowl Rub all over the brisket, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for one hour.
2. Heat 1 tbs of the oil in a large fry pan or medium to high heat and brown brisket starting fatty side down for about 5 mins per side. Transfer to slow cooker.
3. Add the remaining tbs of oil to the fry pan, and cook onion till browned. Add the brewed coffee, vinegar, molasses and Worcestershire sauce and bring to boil. Pour over the brisket and throw in the cloves. Cover the cooker and cook on high for 4 – 6 hours or low for 8 – 10 hours until the beef is tender.
4. Transfer the brisket to a cutting board. Skim the fat off the surface of the juices in the cooker and discard the cloves. While the brisket rests, heat the juices on high for 10 mins, and stir in the marmalade. Slice the brisket across the grain and arrange the slices so they overlap on a large platter. Ladle the sauce over the top.
