16 mushrooms, stalks cut level
3 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 Tbsp butter, softened
2 Tbsp thyme, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
5 Tbsp bread crumbs
1-1/2 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º. Lightly fry the mushrooms, cap side down in olive oil for 2-3 mins. Place mushrooms in 9x13 baking dish with caps down. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Spoon garlic butter, evenly divided, on top of the mushrooms. Lightly press the breadcrumbs on top of mixture. Bake for 15 minutes or until the outer edges of the cap are golden brown. Can make ahead and refrigerate up to 1 day.
