1 pound ground beef
1 pound italian sausage
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 clove garlic chopped
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
¾ tsp. salt
dash pepper
2 tbsp. parmesan cheese
1 16 oz.cottage cheese
8 slices mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. parsley
1 large can of tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
1 tbsp. basil
2 tbsp. oregano
1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup water
1 large box of lasagna noodles

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onion, garlic, and parsley in 1 tbsp oil.
2. Brown ground beef, Italian sausage, draining off excess oil
3. Mix the ground beef, Italian sausage, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, parmesan
cheese, and egg together and set aside.
4. Combine can of tomatoes undrained, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, garlic powder, and water.
5. Cook uncovered 1 ½ hours at 350º.
6. Cook noodles as directed, ( about 9 minutes)
6. Let noodles cool and place on bottom of 9 x 13 greased pan.
7. One layer of noodles, one layer of sliced mozzarella cheese. Then layer 1/2 of cottage cheese, 1/2 meat mixture, sprinkle parmesan.
8. Repeat starting at the noodles.
