3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup soft shortening/margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup milk or water
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup blueberries

(For 13 x 9 pan use 1/12 recipe)


Crumb topping: Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 c. soft margarine.

(For 13 x 9 pan use double recipe of topping)

Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Mix sugar, shortening, and egg thoroughly. Stir in liquid. Add mixed dry ingredients . Blend in berries. Spread in greased and floured 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle with crumb topping.
Bake 45 minutes.
