2 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In large bowl, mix the following:
2 sticks butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Add 2 eggs, unbeaten and beat well.
Sift together 3 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt and add slowly to mixture.
Fill cookie press with mixture and press out cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.
Decorate cookies with colored sugars and/or sprinkles.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
