Ingredients:  
1 head lettuce, broken into bite sized pieces
1 c. celery, cut up
4 eggs, hard cooked & diced
1 pkg frozen peas, cooked
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 sweet onion, diced (I use a purple onion)
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
2 c. mayonnaise (1/2 Miracle Whip if desired)
4 oz grated Cheddar cheese
2 TBsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Layer in a 9"X13" pan the first 7 ingredients. Mix mayo and Miracle Whip salad dressing with sugar. Spread on top as a frosting. Top with cheese, cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. At serving time, garnish with additional bacon and parsley if desired.
