1½ lbs. round steak, pounded or tenderized to ½ inch thick
¼ cup flour, optional
3 T. oil
½ cup onion, grated
2 T. vinegar
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
¾ cup catsup
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
¾ cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge steak in flour until coated on both sides. In 12 inch skillet brown both sides in oil. In small mixing bowl, mix together onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, red pepper, catsup, chili powder and water. Pour over meat, cover and simmer on low heat for 2 hours or until tender. Add water to sauce as needed. Serves 2 to 4.

This is the best round steak I have ever had and believe me we ate eough of it as kids. It's very easy to make and has a nice bite to it.
