1-lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1-16. oz. bag frozen peas(do not thaw)
2 cups celery, diced coarsely
1 small onion, diced coarsely
1-10¾ oz. can cream of mushroom soup
2 T. milk
½ tsp. black pepper
1 cup crushed potato chips

In a 2 quart sprayed casserole dish, layer cooked hamburger, peas and celery. In a medium bowl,
mix together soup, milk onion and pepper. Pour over ingredients, do not stir. Spread chips on top. Bake
at 375° for 45 minutes, uncovered. Serves 4 to 6.

Elaine was a very special friend, like a second mother when I was in my 30's. She bought a tavern and didn't know a thing about bartending. So I taught her the ropes. Then she sold it and came to work for me as an orderfiller at PWM in the late 80's. Then I taught her how to fill orders. She was a classy lady no matter what she did.
