½ shortening or margerine
1 ¼ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ginger
1 cup pumpkin
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup chopped nuts or ½ raisins and ½ nuts

cream shortning and sugar
beat in eggs, one at a time.
add pumpkin and beat until smooth.
in bowl
sift dry ingredients together then add nuts add to the pumpkin mixture.

drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet
bake at 350º for 15 to 20 min.
