3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup milk

1/3 cup melted margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 beaten eggs

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/3 cup all purpose flour

1/3 cup melted margarine

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Combine the first six ingredients, mixing well. Spool into a lightly greased eight inch square baking dish.

Combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the top of the sweet potatoes.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Sweet potatoes were always a favorite for mom and dad. They would grow them in the garden and serve them baked, in casseroles, etc. This dish is usually in all of our family celebrations. It is delicious - somewhere between a dessert and a casserole!
